Prerequisites

You reset your Kenvue network password after your Mac was prepared by ATOS. 
Kenvue PingID is configured on your account. To configure your PingID go to https://mfa.kenvue.com.

Important notes:

Your Mac setup must be completed outside the office, preferably at home. If you must be in the office for the setup, it can only be done at a J&J Red Desk. 
To configure your Mac, you will use a temporary password that was used when your Mac was configured. It will be needed for initial login as well as the initial sync. You should have received it in an email communication, but if you did not, please contact your manager. 
You should not set up your computer until you have changed your Kenvue network password and configured MFA (PingID) with your Kenvue account.

Step 1

Connect the power adapter to the MacBook. The MacBook should boot directly to theApple Setup Assistant.

Step 2

Choose the country and click continue.

Step 3

Confirm or customize your language, keyboard, and dictation settings to your preferences, and click continue.

Step 4

Confirm or customize your Accessibility settings. If customizing, follow your device prompts. If no changes are needed, click Not Now.

Step 5

Important: Do not connect to JJGUEST or a hotspot Wi-Fi during this process, failure is likely.
In office: Use Ethernet only. You will bypass this prompt when connected to an ethernet cable.
At home: Select a quality Wi-Fi network, enter the password and click continue.

Step 6

Click continue to allow J&J Remote Management. If you do not see this screen, stop and open an IRIS ticket for support.

Step 7

Choose your Time Zone AND click Turn On Location Services.

Step 8

Provide your J&J credentials and click Sign On.

Step 9

Type in your PingID passcode and click Sign On.

Step 10

Review the Johnson & Johnson warning notice, check the box to Agree, and click Done.

Step 11

Within a few moments of opening the macOS desktop, configuration should begin and will run for thirty to forty-five minutes depending on the internet speed of your internet connection. Your device will show a Welcome screen, wait until the profile is configured.

NOTE: Please leave your Mac plugged in and powered on until configuration is complete.
